Space of artistic criticism

The Art Criticism Blog is a space dedicated to reflection, analysis, and debate on developments in contemporary art, in Kosovo and beyond.
Through critical texts, essays, interviews, and reviews, we aim to foster a vibrant discourse around artistic practices, the role of art in society, and the challenges artists face today. This blog is an invitation to think more deeply about the works exhibited, the contexts in which they are created, and the ways in which they communicate with the public.
In collaboration with art critics, researchers, curators, and the artists themselves, our blog seeks to build a dynamic archive of critical thought and to create a bridge between creation and understanding.
If you are interested in contributing a critical text, reflection, or short essay, please contact us, the blog is open to new ideas and diverse voices.

About Hani

Hani i 2 Robertëve is the oldest independent cultural organization in Kosovo, founded in May 1989. It initially opened as a cafeteria inside a tunnel shaped passage with dozens of cafeterias, in the architectural complex called Kurrizi in the Dardania neighborhood of Prishtina, and later moved to the space known as Santea in the same neighborhood.

Zërat

Who makes Hani breathe? The voices.

Here, those who bring life, tension, warmth, revolt are presented: artists, curators, poets, critics, musicians, gentle activists.

Each voice appears as a portrait, as a fragment, as a hand that has left a mark.
